The Air Force held two virtual public hearings on June 10-11, 2025 to provide the public with the opportunity to learn more about the Draft PEIS and provide input. The public was notified via newspaper articles and direct mail postcards and was encouraged to attend the meetings to assist the Air Force in making more informed decisions about this proposed action. The virtual public hearings included: (1) opening introduction by the 99th Civil Engineering Squadron; (2) a pre-recorded video outlining the scope of the master planning and installation development actions and findings in the Draft PEIS; and (3) an opportunity for attendees to provide oral comments. The project presentation at the public hearings began at 5:30 p.m., formal public testimony began at approximately 6:00 p.m., and the hearing venue closed after all commenters had an opportunity to speak. The comments received at the meetings are incorporated into the Final PEIS.
